Willard Marine 7 Metre Navy RIB has been re-designed and constructed for launch and retrieval from the stern ramps of larger patrol craft. The objective is to provide extended range and enhance capabilities of patrol craft. The specialist stern launch version of the RIB has waterjet propulsion, 5086 aluminum hulls and re-enforced sections for contact with the stern ramp during recovery to the mother vessel.

Willard Marine 7 Metre Standard Navy RIB is built to US Navy specifications and is designed for conventional launch from Navy ships. The objective of this boat is to give safe and reliable performance. The 7 Metre RIB is powered by Cummins inboard diesel engine with outdrive and comes with a wide variety of options including a Force Protection package.

Standard specifications include heavy duty fibreglass hull and deck construction with two high capacity deck drains linked to elephant trunks. Inorganic materials (no wood) are used in boat construction, high density foam inserts are used at all high strength connections and pigmented colour gel coat finish on all moulded surfaces. The heavy duty seven chambered 550mm (22”) diameter grey Polyurethane coated inflatable tubes include inboard lifelines and heavy duty rub strakes. Type 316 stainless steel fasteners are used throughout.

Willard Marine Navy RIBs meet stringent, specific requirements including the lowest weights for shipboard use. Willard Marine offer onboard or onsite Crew Familiarisation training. Courses can be developed to individual clients requirements to cover the operation, maintenance and repair of craft.
