Protech Marine Armor Systems offer stand alone and appliqué armour systems from mission specific modular kits to full OEM integration for all types of maritime ballistic protection applications. In providing ballistic and design support to each individual client Protech ensure product conformance and seamless program execution to meet cost, weight and performance objectives.
Protech Marine Armor Systems has a broad portfolio of lightweight ceramic and composite systems for armor piercing (AP) threats that address most small arms protection requirements and offer superior multi-hit boat armour solutions. Polyethylene systems, which afford least weight penalty, are buoyant and unaffected by fresh water, salt water and UV rays. Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings (CARC) and exterior coatings give protection against the harshest of environments and provide long term serviceability.
There are various installation methods for Protech marine craft armour. The specific substrate or desired armour location usually dictates the attachment and integration method. Common means are through bolt, framing in or attachment by means of marine grade fasteners. Protech is able to provide the panels pre-drilled and configured to your desired specification in kit form to include installation hardware.
Within the hostile environments of today's world Protech Marine Armor maritime protection applications are available for high speed assault boats, patrol boats, response boats, pilot boats, escort boats, riverine craft, search & rescue, shallow water boats, homeland security vessels, law enforcement craft and large ships.
