Fast Rescue Boats (FRB) can be designed and built to SOLAS (Safety at Life at Sea) requirements. These craft need to conform fully with the latest international regulations. USCG approved SOLAS rescue boats and fast rescue boats are primarily evaluated to the standards of the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) resolution entitled ‘International Life-Saving Appliance (LSA) Code’ as referenced by the Safety at Life at Sea Convention.
